ASTM F1554 defines three strength grades for anchor bolts.
- Grade 36, 36 ksi minimum yield, general structural anchoring, readily weldable mild steel.
- Grade 55, 55 ksi yield, higher-load connections, weldable with the S1 chemistry supplement.
- Grade 105, 105 ksi yield, high-strength quenched & tempered, not generally weldable.
Madden Bolt fabricates all three grades, plus A36, A572 Grade 50, A193 B7, A193 B8 and B8M, A320 B8 and B8M, A354 BC, A449, L7 and L43, 1011 and 1018, and 304/316 stainless when a project specification calls for it, in diameters from 3/4″ to 3″, then hot-dip galvanizes them in-house before they ship.
