Madden Bolt makes anchor bolts for oil and gas facilities, refineries, gas processing plants, compressor stations, tank farms. We run high-strength anchor bolts to ASTM F1554 Grade 105 and A193 B7, plus steel embeds and custom fabrication for pipe racks and vessel and skid foundations, then hot-dip galvanize in-house to stand up to the Gulf Coast. AISC certified, traceable back to the heat, and the parts ship fast.
Anchor bolts for oil and gas facilities have to hold rotating equipment, tall vessels, and miles of pipe dead steady, through thermal cycling, vibration, and air that chews on steel. Refineries, gas processing plants, compressor stations, tank farms: we fabricate the high-strength anchor bolts, steel embeds, and custom steel these jobs call for, built to your spec and hot-dip galvanized in-house before they ship. Family-owned on the Gulf Coast since 1988, right in the middle of American refining.
Oil and gas work runs the full hydrocarbon chain, and every structure anchors a little differently. Scopes we fabricate all the time:
For chemical process units specifically (reactors, columns, exchanger structures) see our petrochemical page. If the scope reaches into power islands and turbines, see power generation.
These specs lean on high-strength and alloy material. Here’s what we run for this work:
| Spec / Grade | Typical Oil & Gas Use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ASTM F1554 Grade 105 | Compressor, pump, and heavy equipment foundations | High-strength, quenched & tempered |
| ASTM A193 B7 | Equipment, skid, and flange connections | Alloy steel for elevated-temperature service |
| ASTM F1554 Grade 55 | Process structures and pipe racks | Weldable with the S1 chemistry supplement |
| ASTM F1554 Grade 36 | General structural anchoring | Readily weldable mild steel |
We’ll also run A572 Grade 50, A354 Grade BC, A193 B8 and B8M, A320 B8 and B8M, L7 and L43, 1011 and 1018, and 304/316 stainless on spec. The full anchor bolt range is on our anchor bolts page.
Refineries and processing plants are hard on bare steel, humidity, salt air, and whatever the process throws off. We hot-dip galvanize the bolts, embeds, and fabricated steel in-house per ASTM A123 (fabricated steel), A153 (bolts, nuts, and washers), and F2329, on the same property we made the parts. Our kettle has run next to the fab floor since 2007, so the coating’s consistent, one QC team owns the part from raw steel to finished, and there’s no third party to schedule around. More on in-house hot-dip galvanizing.
Oil and gas procurement runs on paperwork, and we keep it tight. Madden Bolt is an AISC certified fabricator with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff. Every order traces back to the heat with mill test reports (MTRs). One quality team signs off from the day the steel comes in to the day it leaves the kettle. See all industries we serve.
Refineries, gas processing plants, compressor stations, tank farms, they all tie pumps, compressors, vessels, exchangers, and pipe racks down to concrete. That takes high-strength anchor bolts, usually ASTM F1554 Grade 105 and A193 B7, plus embeds and fabricated steel. We make all of it to your spec and hot-dip galvanize it in-house.
Oil and gas is the broad hydrocarbon chain, upstream, midstream, refining, gas processing, compressor stations, tank farms. Petrochemical is the chemical-process side: the units that turn feedstock into chemicals and polymers, like reactors, columns, and exchanger structures. Plenty of Gulf Coast complexes run both, so if your project covers both, send a drawing and we’ll quote it.
Yes. A193 B7 alloy-steel bolts and studs show up all over oil and gas equipment, flange, and skid connections that run hot. We make B7 right alongside the F1554 anchor bolts, with heavy hex nuts and washers to match the bolt schedule.
Yes. Pipe racks and process structures use embedded plates, anchor bolts, and fabricated members to tie steel to concrete. We make the steel embeds, embedded plates, shear connectors, and custom carbon-steel members, then galvanize them, so one source covers the anchoring and the structural steel for the rack.
Gulf Coast refineries and processing plants stack salt air on top of process humidity, so the steel needs protection. We hot-dip galvanize the bolts, embeds, and fabricated steel in-house per ASTM A123, A153, and F2329 on the same property the parts are made on, no outside galvanizer to schedule around, and one QC team from raw steel to finished part.
Yes. We’re an AISC certified fabricator with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff. Every order traces back to the heat with mill test reports (MTRs).
Fabrication, threading, and galvanizing all happen in our Houston shop, so nothing sits waiting on a hand-off. We keep up with the rush and turnaround schedules that come with refinery and processing work. Send your bolt schedule or drawings and we’ll quote a lead time.
Send your bolt schedule and equipment drawings. We turn around standard, rush, and expedited anchor bolt, embed, and fabrication orders for oil and gas facilities nationwide.
