Madden Bolt makes anchor bolts for construction, commercial and industrial buildings, column base plates, structural steel connections. We fabricate anchor bolts to ASTM F1554, plus steel embeds, base plates, and setting templates, all hot-dip galvanized in-house and kitted by column line. Fabrication and galvanizing in-house means the bolts hit the job fast, which is what GCs and steel erectors are calling for. AISC certified, family-owned since 1988.
Anchor bolts for construction are where the building meets its foundation. At every column base plate, the bolts carry the structure’s gravity, wind, and seismic load down into the concrete. We fabricate those bolts to ASTM F1554 and your structural drawings, plus the steel embeds, base plates, and fabricated steel components that finish the connection, all built in-house and hot-dip galvanized before they ship.
Warehouse, office tower, stadium, industrial building, the anchoring scope is about the same. We fabricate:

On a job, the bolts have to be in the ground before steel goes up, so a slow bolt order holds up the whole sequence. We keep that from happening. Anchor bolts, embeds, fabrication, and galvanizing all run in our Houston shop, so there’s no outside hand-off to wait on. That single-source setup is why GCs and steel erectors lean on us for standard, rush, and expedited orders, and why the bolts get to the site when the schedule says they should.
| Grade | Typical Building Use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ASTM F1554 Grade 36 | Most commercial column base plates | Readily weldable mild steel |
| ASTM F1554 Grade 55 | Higher-load and braced-frame connections | Weldable with the S1 chemistry supplement |
| ASTM F1554 Grade 105 | Heavy industrial and high-load structures | High-strength |
Diameters run 3/4 inch to 3 inches with UNC and 8-UN. The full capability (bent and headed configurations included) is on our anchor bolts page.
For exposed connections, exterior structures, and parking decks, we hot-dip galvanize the bolts and embeds in-house per ASTM A123, A153, and F2329, same property the parts were made on, no separate galvanizer to schedule. We’re an AISC certified fabricator with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff, and every order traces back to the heat with mill test reports (MTRs) on request. They anchor at the column base plates, where the bolts hand the building’s load off to concrete footings and piers. Most are ASTM F1554 Grade 36 or Grade 55, set in patterns that match each base plate. We make those bolts, plus the embeds and base plates that go with them, to your structural drawings.
Yes. We back general contractors and steel erectors all the time with anchor bolts, base plates, embedded plates, and setting templates kitted by column line. Anchor bolts, embeds, fabrication, and galvanizing all happen in-house, so the erector deals with one shop instead of three.
Quick turnaround is why contractors call. Fabrication, threading, and galvanizing all run in our Houston shop, so there’s no third-party hand-off dragging the order out. We handle standard, rush, and expedited construction schedules and ship nationwide.
Anchor bolts in ASTM F1554 Grades 36, 55, and 105, diameters from 3/4 inch to 3 inches, with UNC and 8-UN. Most building base plates run Grade 36 or 55; heavier industrial structures might want Grade 105. We’ll also work to A36 and A572 Grade 50 on spec.
Yes. We supply complete anchor bolt assemblies (bolts, heavy hex nuts, plate washers, jam nuts, and steel setting templates) so each base plate location shows up kitted and ready to set. Good templates hold the bolt pattern true through the pour and get the iron up faster.
Yes. For exposed structures, parking garages, and exterior connections, we hot-dip galvanize the bolts and embeds in-house per ASTM A123, A153, and F2329 on the same property the parts are made on, so there’s no separate galvanizer to schedule and the order ships complete.
Yes. We ship anchor bolts, embeds, and fabricated steel for commercial and industrial construction nationwide out of our Houston shop, on standard, rush, and expedited schedules.
Send your anchor bolt schedule, base plate details, or structural drawings. We turn around standard, rush, and expedited anchor bolt and fabrication orders for commercial and industrial construction nationwide.
