For four generations, the Madden family has done one thing and done it well: build the steel that holds structures to their foundations, and turn it around faster than anyone expects. The family started bending bolts in Houston in 1942, and still owns the place four generations later. Madden Bolt grew from a one-product bolt shop into a multi-trade anchor bolt manufacturer and fabricator, and did it without ever leaving Houston or letting up on the discipline of doing more in-house than a single shop is supposed to handle.

Most steel orders bleed time at the hand-offs. Fabrication wraps up in one building, the parts sit in a queue for an outside galvanizer, then they finally ship. We closed those gaps in 2007, when our hot-dip galvanizing kettle started running on the same property as the fab shop. What you get is real single-source fabrication: one purchase order, one QC team, one schedule from raw steel to the finished, galvanized part.

Yes. We’re an AISC certified fabricator and an AWS CWF (Certified Welding Fabricator), and we keep a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff. Every order is fully traceable, and we’ll pull mill test reports (MTRs) whenever you need them.
