Madden Bolt makes anchor bolts for telecommunications structures, cell towers, monopoles, and lattice towers. We build anchor bolt cages and high-strength anchor bolts matched to each tower’s base plate, and hot-dip galvanize in-house so it lasts decades outside. AISC certified, family-owned since 1988, and we ship nationwide.
Anchor bolts for telecommunications structures pull wind and ice load out of tall, skinny towers and put it into a compact concrete foundation. And they’ve got to land right, a tower base plate gives you no room for a bolt that’s off. We fabricate the anchor bolts, threaded bars, and anchor cages these towers run on, assembled to match the base plate and hot-dip galvanized in-house before they ship.
Cell towers, monopoles, and lattice towers sit on a bolt circle or a full anchor cage set into a drilled-pier or mat foundation. We fabricate and assemble:
We assemble, weld, and tag the cages in our Houston yard, so they show up ready to set. Full capability is on our threaded rebar & anchor cages page. For transmission poles and substations, see our closely related infrastructure page.
On a tower foundation, the numbers have to be dead on. Bolt circle diameter, the projection of each bolt above the concrete, the overall pattern, all of it has to line up with the base plate the tower manufacturer ships. Miss it and the crew’s grinding, shimming, or re-pouring out on some remote site. We have our detail team build the cage from your approved drawings so it matches the base plate that lands in the field. That’s what keeps a multi-site rollout from falling behind.

Tower anchors get cast into concrete that sits in soil and weather for the life of the structure, so they need the coating. We hot-dip galvanize the bolts, cages, and threaded bars in-house per ASTM A123, A153, F2329, and A767, same property the parts were made on, no outside galvanizer to schedule. We’re an AISC certified fabricator with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff, and every order traces back to the heat with mill test reports (MTRs) on request. More on in-house hot-dip galvanizing, or see all industries we serve, including transportation light and signal poles.
They sit on a bolt circle or anchor cage set in a drilled-pier or mat foundation. The anchors are usually high-strength anchor bolts or threaded bars. We make these bolts and cages to ASTM F1554 and your spec, then hot-dip galvanize them for decades of service outdoors.
It’s a pre-built cluster of anchor bolts or threaded bars, held in the exact bolt-circle pattern by welded rings or templates, set in the foundation before the pour. It puts every anchor where it belongs so the tower base plate seats right. We assemble, weld, and tag these cages in our Houston yard.
Telecom towers stand out in the open for decades, and their anchors are cast into concrete that sits in soil and weather. Hot-dip galvanizing per ASTM A123, A153, F2329, and A767 keeps corrosion off the bolts, cages, and threaded bars. We galvanize in-house on the same property the parts are made on, so there’s no outside galvanizer dragging the order out.
Anchor bolts in ASTM F1554 Grades 36, 55, and 105, diameters from 3/4 inch to 3 inches, and anchor cages out of #14J and #18J A615 Gr. 75 rebar. Tower foundations usually want Grade 55 or 105 high-strength material; we match the grade to your structural drawings.
Yes. Telecom build-outs tend to repeat the same foundation across a lot of sites. We run matching anchor bolt cages and assemblies in batches, tag them by site, and ship them nationwide on standard, rush, and expedited schedules, and the turnaround is quick.
Yes. Cell towers and transmission structures go up everywhere, and we ship anchor bolts, cages, and fabricated steel for telecommunications structures nationwide out of our Houston shop.
Send your tower base plate detail, bolt circle, or foundation drawings. We turn around standard, rush, and expedited anchor bolt and cage orders for cell towers and telecommunications structures nationwide.
