Madden Bolt supplies anchor bolts for data centers, hyperscale and mission-critical builds. We fabricate anchor bolts to ASTM F1554, plus steel embeds, base plates, and the skid anchoring for standby generators and equipment. It’s all hot-dip galvanized in our own shop and kitted by location. Fabrication and galvanizing in-house means we keep up with fast-track schedules instead of dragging them. AISC certified, family-owned since 1988, shipping nationwide.
Anchor bolts for data centers hold down two very different things on the same job: the structural steel of a building going up fast, and the rows of backup-power and cooling gear that keep the place running. Both sit on anchor bolts and embeds cast into concrete. We fabricate those anchor bolts to ASTM F1554, plus the steel embeds, base plates, and fabricated components the job calls for, cut and welded in our shop, then galvanized before it ships.
A mission-critical facility runs on redundant power and cooling, and every one of those units bolts down to a pad. We fabricate the anchoring for:
Where the backup power scales up to turbine generation, our power generation capabilities apply. For the building structure itself, see our construction page.
Data center work moves faster than just about anything else we touch, and the anchor bolts have to be in the concrete before steel or equipment shows up. A late bolt order pushes the whole critical path back. We’re set up to keep pace. Anchor bolts, embeds, fabrication, and galvanizing all run in our Houston shop, so there’s no outside vendor to wait on and no schedule but ours to hit. That’s how we hold the best lead times in the industry and soak up the rush and expedited orders a hyperscale build keeps throwing off.
| Grade | Typical Data Center Use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ASTM F1554 Grade 36 | Building column base plates | Readily weldable mild steel |
| ASTM F1554 Grade 55 | Higher-load structural connections | Weldable with the S1 chemistry supplement |
| ASTM F1554 Grade 105 | Heavy generator and equipment foundations | High-strength, quenched & tempered |
Diameters run 3/4 inch to 3 inches, threaded UNC or 8-UN. Bent and headed configurations and the rest of what we do are on our anchor bolts page.
Outdoor generator yards, equipment pads, exposed connections, those get hot-dip galvanized per ASTM A123, A153, and F2329, right here, on the same property we fabricated. No separate galvanizer to schedule around. We’re an AISC certified fabricator with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff, and every order traces back to its mill test reports (MTRs) when you need them. Data centers and advanced-manufacturing campuses move on tight, fast-track schedules and demand traceable, on-spec anchors. Work we’ve supplied:
Two things, really. The building’s structural steel anchors down at the column base plates, and the heavy backup-power and cooling equipment (standby generators, switchgear, transformers, chiller skids) each sits on its own foundation. That mix takes ASTM F1554 anchor bolts in a few grades, plus embeds and base plates. We fabricate all of it to your drawings and keep up with the fast-track schedule.
Yes. These facilities run rows of standby generators and equipment skids, every one bolted to its own pad. We fabricate the anchor bolts, embedded plates, jam nuts, and templates for those foundations and kit them by location, so the equipment installers open one box per pad instead of sorting through a pile.
Speed is the whole game for us. Anchor bolts, embeds, fabrication, and galvanizing all happen in our Houston shop, so nothing sits waiting on an outside vendor. We handle the rush and expedited schedules hyperscale work runs on every day, ship nationwide, and hold the best lead times in the industry.
Anchor bolts to ASTM F1554 Grades 36, 55, and 105, in diameters from 3/4 inch to 3 inches, threaded UNC or 8-UN. Building base plates usually run Grade 36 or 55. Heavy generator and equipment foundations sometimes need Grade 105. We also work to A36 and A572 Grade 50, plus structural steel (A992, A500, and A53 in angle, beam, channel, and pipe), when the spec calls for it.
Yes. Complete assemblies (anchor bolts, heavy hex nuts, plate washers, jam nuts, and steel setting templates) kitted by column line or equipment pad. A good template holds a big bolt pattern dead-on through the pour. On a fast-track site, you don’t get a second shot at it, so that accuracy earns its keep.
Yes. For outdoor equipment yards, generator pads, and exposed connections, we hot-dip galvanize anchor bolts and embeds per ASTM A123, A153, and F2329 on the same property we fabricated. The order leaves complete, with no separate galvanizer to schedule.
Yes. These facilities are going up all over the country, and we ship anchor bolts, embeds, and fabricated steel for data center construction nationwide out of our Houston shop.
Send us your bolt schedule, equipment pad layout, or structural drawings. We turn around standard, rush, and expedited anchor bolt and fabrication orders for data center construction nationwide.
